Physicians are spending a significant amount of time on administrative tasks causing rising rates of burnout, patient dissatisfaction, and a lack of engagement. To offset this, the University of Michigan Health-West (UMHW) brought AI innovations into their practice to enable their physicians to focus on their patients and restore the joy of practicing medicine.
In this session, Josh Wilda, Chief Information Officer and Lance Owens, Chief Medical Information Officer at University of Michigan Health West, will share their mission and goals and their outcomes(!) since implementing this technology and how it helped them to achieve better healthcare experiences for all. Nuance’s Jared Pelo, Chief Clinical Product Officer, will host the session and share the latest on Nuance’s AI innovations.
