Personal and Team Responsibilities
● Reporting into the physician partners, the practice administrator will serve as a trusted leader in the practice, ensuring delivery of a quality patient experience and the achievement of productivity goals.
● In collaboration with the partnering physicians, the practice administrator oversees department managers, as well as patient and referral experience, team member satisfaction, doctor satisfaction, and opportunities for improvement and growth.
● In collaboration with physician partners, this administrator helps implement goals and objectives of the practice.
● Monitors practice performance through tracking mechanisms, adjusting as needed
● Ensures policies, protocols, and procedures are being followed based on standard operating procedures. For example, you need to be familiar with HIPAA, OSHA, and CMS guidelines to name a few.
● Ensures a positive patient experience for everyone.
● Ensures current practice is compliant with current partnership agreement.
● Regularly communicates and collaborates with doctors and team members.
● Evaluates potential issues before they occur by including the doctors and department managers.
● Provide supervision for departmental and individual goals.
● Hires team members as directed by physician partners.
● Maintains a safe and enjoyable workplace for team members.
● Maintain a high standard when monitoring the work environment and facilities.
Revenue and Financial Responsibilities:
● Oversee and prepare financial statements
● Conduct monthly financial meeting with physicians.
● Work with current EMR and develop workflow, review guidelines as necessary and good understanding of reporting available through the EMR.
● Implement Stark formulas and special allocations to meet government guidelines.
● Administer payroll, human resource functions, insurance contracts, vendor contracts, company insurance policies and retirement plan.
● Prepare all company income tax returns, employee benefit plan, sales and use tax, retirement plan and year-end planning for the physicians,
● Develop and improve relationships with other medical practices, insurance companies, financial institutions, and other necessary vendors, which is critical to elevate the overall financial performance of the practice
Education and Experience
● Five years of related experience required; preferably within the medical industry.
● Five years strong accounting background required.
● Two years of supervisory experience required.
● Bachelor's degree in related fields required.
● CPA preferred but not required.
Skills and Abilities
● Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, must be a people person!
● Ability to work well with team members across all levels of the organization.
● Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.
● Extensive knowledge of office management procedures.
● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Pay: $97,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
